I can honestly write here that my mouth really did drop. I couldn’t believe it. I still can’t believe it. Is it a joke? Is it A.I.? Or an old video?
Nikocado Avocado throughout the years
I have been watching Nikocado Avocado’s videos off and on throughout the years. The reason I’m not an avid watcher was because I found some of his content depressing and sad. I don’t particularly like watching any kind of mukbang because it almost always lead to poor health in some of the content creators.
I, like so many others online, had hoped Nikocado Avocado would one day turn his life around and become healthy.
They criticized him, insulted him, and said he was irrelevant
In his new video, Nik Avocado talked about how he was two steps ahead of his viewers and how his video was a social experiment. He said that people commented on his weight by calling him fat, they insulted him and called him “irrelevant”.
However, while commenters were criticizing him, they had no idea he was on his weight loss journey. In fact, Nik said he hasn’t uploaded to his channel for over two years. If that is true, that means he either stockpiled enough video for two years or he has reused content without anyone realizing it. All while he was losing weight behind the scenes.
Even now, people cannot believe what they are seeing. Some think that the new video is a really old one from years ago that Nik has now uploaded, others have said it could be A.I. generated, and, let’s just say Nik has a few people just utterly confused.
I’m happy for him but I don’t think I’ll continue to watch
While I am really happy that he has lost weight, I don’t think I will watch his new channel if he continues with mukbangs. I’m on a weight loss journey myself, having gained weight after the birth of my second son. I know how it feels to be stuck in a body that just doesn’t feel right. Therefore, I prefer to dive into videos that are positive and promotes a healthy lifestyle which I don’t think mukbangs do.
I hope that Nik slowly moves away from mukbangs. I would love to hear him play the violin or something.
