Slap me twice: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to apologize?

Ok, I was planning on moving on from the Sussexes. I haven’t written much about them on this blog and was debating on which direction to take “Reply Girl” in. After returning to the UK, I no longer found them interesting. There are some things I believed they said were true and other things weren’t true. I believe they exaggerated and made up somethings that they have said but in the end that’s just MY OPINION. Just like they can have their “Truths,” I can have my “opinions”. However, I am in shock. I am in confusion. Confusion just all around me.

Allegedly, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to allegedly apologize

I don’t want to believe this but stranger things have happened. One moment Prince Harry said he was unable to bring his wife and children to the UK, next moment, they are there. No taxpayer funded security provided by the UK government. Only their paid security is handling their protection in the ‘dangerous’ and ‘racist’ United Kingdom.

Now, it’s being reported that the Sussexes are planning on apologizing to the Wales. This comes after years of speaking their truths about how awful it was for them to be in the royal family. So awful that Meghan planned to harm herself and so they had to run away from the ‘dangerous’ royal family and the ‘dangerous’ UK. Apparently, having to wear tights was emotionally damaging for Meghan as well as having hardly anyone asking if she was ok. Yet, some how, magically, the same country they left have became safe enough for them to return to with their children.

And now the same people they say caused their distress, Prince William who knocked Prince Harry into a dog bowl that broke on Prince Harry’s back and Catherine, the Princess of Wales, who had made Meghan cry during her wedding preparations are set to get an apology.

Could it be that all the talking that they had done publicly, the six part docuseries, the Oprah interview, Finding Freedom, Endgame, podcasts, several interviews, and a memoir called “Spare” that was the fastest sold in the history of the world which all led to multimillion dollars into the Sussexes’ bank account….could all of this have helped to heal the Sussexes? The money and talking it out in public rather than in a therapist office has helped them to heal and want to move on?

I’m sorry but this post will make no sense because the situation makes no sense to me. Apologize? Now? After all that was said? After all the money and support that they received while saying the stuff that they said?

 

Oh so the Sussexes are broke broke…not rich people broke….

I’m starting to believe the rumors about the Sussexes struggling financially is true. IN MY OPINION, I believe this has nothing to do with King Charles’s health and every thing to do with the Sussexes going broke due to the lifestyle they were living and the lawsuits Prince Harry lost.

The only person in this world who can give him money without asking for repayment back would be King Charles. Possibly Prince William but I don’t see that happening.

The Sussexes had all the time in the world to apologize but now that they no longer have another possible Oprah’s interview, Spotify contract, Netflix contract, and the public at large is done listening to their “truths” (after all, we heard it during the pandemic, during black lives matter, after the death of the late Queen…I don’t think the public want to hear about the woes of two multimillionaire during a fuel crisis, the possibility of the plague 2.0 coming from Russia or during a cost of living crisis).

Why do they care to apologize now?

The Sussexes didn’t care about Prince Philips’ health when he was laying in the hospital dying. Oprah straight up said she called the Sussexes and asked them if they still wanted to air the interview and she was given the greenlight from the Sussexes.

They didn’t care when the late Queen was struggling during her Jubilee nor did they care about their 6 part docuseries airing after the late Queen’s death and funeral or that Spare was going to be published right afterwards.

But all of a sudden King Charles have cancer and it’s “let’s apologize”? Did Prince Harry ever visited his father-in-law? The one who had his foot cut off? From all reports, Prince Harry never once visited Thomas Markle Sr before his wedding to Meghan or even afterwards.

The Sussexes have put out several interviews, 6 part docuseries, a memoir, etc. talking about his family and yet, he’s going to apologize to them but he can’t go see his sick, VERY POOR, low status father-in-law who was right there in California?

I’m about to be bombarded by the Sussex Squad for sure but I’m tired of hearing the Sussexes talk from both sides of their mouths. This isn’t done for the kids, this is done because their reputation is fading. Among the Sussex Squad and the royal watching community, there will always be talks about the Sussexes but for the world at large, people have moved on. No one cares anymore about what happened all those years ago. Now that they moved back and are willing to apologize, this all seems like a family dispute that was blown out of proportion and netted the Sussexes multimillion dollar deals.

In plain English: The Sussexes got rich playing victim and now that it’s no longer the money making, reputation building thing that they hoped for, they are trying to build bridges back in the hopes of getting their senior royal position back, taxpayer funded security, and working royal position back.

I hope all those who have a parasocial relationship with the Sussexes start to unwind themselves from the Sussexes because this road that the Sussexes are on isn’t going to be pretty for those who spent all their time supporting the Sussexes and hating the royals.
