Meghan Markle Shares Heartwarming Father’s Day Tribute to Prince Harry

British Royals celebrates Father's Day

Meghan Markle celebrated Father’s Day by sharing a touching family photo of Prince Harry embracing their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, offering fans a rare glimpse into their private family life.

The Duchess of Sussex posted the image on Instagram alongside a heartfelt message dedicated to her husband.

“They’re so lucky to have you. We all are. Happy Father’s Day to our one and only,” Meghan wrote.

The photograph shows Harry kneeling with a broad smile as he hugs Archie and Lilibet. Lilibet was dressed in a white outfit complete with a giraffe teddy backpack, while Archie wore an England FIFA World Cup-themed T-shirt from Zara.

Sussex Family Reportedly Planning UK Visit

The Father’s Day tribute comes amid reports that Prince Harry is preparing to bring Meghan and their children to the United Kingdom next month.

According to reports, the family is expected to attend the one-year countdown celebration for the 2027 Invictus Games, which will be held in Birmingham. If the visit goes ahead, it will mark Archie and Lilibet’s first trip to Britain in approximately four years.

The children have not seen their grandfather, King Charles III, in person since attending Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022.

Sources also claim Harry is now satisfied with the security arrangements for the planned visit, although questions surrounding his family’s long-term security in Britain remain unresolved.

Harry has reportedly seen King Charles only twice during the past two years, while Meghan has not made an extended visit to the UK since attending Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022.

Royal Family Marks Prince William’s Birthday

The Sussex family’s social media post arrived just hours after the Royal Family celebrated Prince William’s 44th birthday, which also coincided with Father’s Day.

A new photograph released by Kensington Palace showed the Prince of Wales smiling with Princess Charlotte in the gardens of Kensington Palace following Trooping the Colour.

The accompanying message, signed by Catherine, Princess Charlotte, Prince George and Prince Louis, read:

“Happy birthday and Father’s Day to the best Papa in the World! We love you very much.”

The Royal Family also shared a photograph of King Charles and Prince William taken during their joint appearance at London’s Natural History Museum in October 2025.

King Charles Pays Tribute to Prince Philip

To commemorate Father’s Day, the Royal Family released a nostalgic image of a young King Charles standing alongside his father, the late Prince Philip, both dressed in Royal Air Force service uniforms.

The message accompanying the photograph honored fathers everywhere while remembering those missing their dads on the special day.

Trooping the Colour Protest

The celebrations followed a busy royal week that included Trooping the Colour, King Charles’ official birthday parade.

During the procession, anti-monarchy campaign group Republic staged a demonstration, displaying umbrellas spelling “Stop The Reign” while chanting slogans including “Not my King” and “Not my Queen” as the Princess of Wales and her children passed in a carriage.

Although Princess Catherine appeared unfazed by the protest, the demonstration was largely overshadowed by applause from royal supporters lining the streets.

William Enjoys Royal Ascot and Supports Aston Villa

Prince William also attended Royal Ascot alongside Catherine, who made one of her most notable public appearances since revealing her cancer diagnosis. The Princess wore a bright yellow outfit by Roksanda, while William appeared in high spirits throughout the event.

The Prince of Wales also delighted football fans when he responded enthusiastically to a spectator shouting “Up the Villa!” in support of Aston Villa, replying with a smile, “Good season.”

In another gesture that attracted attention this week, William reportedly donated £1,000 to help save a local pub that was facing permanent closure.

As Father’s Day celebrations unfolded across the Royal Family, Meghan’s heartfelt tribute to Harry and reports of a possible UK reunion added another chapter to the ongoing story of Britain’s most famous royal relatives.
