How the Sussex Squad ruined Christmas: The attack on Christian priests
Just when I thought I have seen it all...

Every year there is what I call the “Battle of the Advent Calendars” where influencers, religious people, and, now, even a Duchess are selling their advent calendars to the public. I remember sitting down during the lockdown watching a video about the various influencers who sold advent calendars and which one was the best to buy for the right price. I have no idea, other than pure boredom, why I watched it because I don’t even buy or sell advent calendars. Maybe it was just the sheer amazement I had over the fact that so many people were pushing this item.
Anyways, back to the Sussex Squad and their attack on two British Priests.
So what had happened was….
According to the Daily Mail, Reverend Daniel French allegedly criticized Meghan’s $148 advent calendar while promoting a Christian advent calendar that cost £6 contains Fairtrade chocolate. For his criticism, he was allegedly attacked by the Sussex Squad who called him “evil” and “Satan spawn”. Father Chris Phillips allegedly jumped in to try and help Reverend Daniel French but allegedly Father Phillips was also attacked by the Sussex Squad on Twitter/X.
Such a horrible situation.
Don’t criticize the Sussexes
Something to keep in mind when posting on Twitter/X and other social media platforms is to not criticize the Sussexes unless you want to deal with the rabid side of the Sussex Squad. Those people can be brutal in their defense of Meghan and Prince Harry. They will call you all kinds of names, dox you, your spouse, your kids, and even your pet. Some have called people’s work place in the hopes of getting the person fired from their jobs.
Many of them hold a very deep parasocial relationship with the Sussexes that seem to get hurt with the slightest of criticism. Some of them can’t stand any negativity about the Sussexes. Believe me, I know. I once said I wasn’t a fan of Meghan’s wedding dress and nearly got taken out. One must always speak highly of Meghan and Prince Harry because in the eyes of the Sussex Squad, the Sussexes do not lie, everything they do is amazing, they are the best, on the same level or above God Himself.
Just leave Meghan and Prince Harry alone
Over the years, I have seen the Sussex Squad hound people off of social media, get accounts closed, and tell people “oh, it’s not us, that person is not part of the Sussex Squad” while doing all that they can to terrorize the person who dares to point out a flaw, or say something negative about Harry and Meghan. Also, a lot of negativity leads to “Why do people hate Meghan and Prince Harry so much” questions which, let’s face it, they don’t want the real answer to.
So be nice to Meghan and Prince Harry or you will find yourself having to lock your twitter/x account, or close the comment section under your YouTube video (while worrying about whether or not the Sussex Squad will have your account closed). Playing with these people’s parasocial relationship and their feelings is no joke. Leave Meghan Markle and Prince Harry alone.
On the flip side I do wish the priest had an advent calendar that donated some money to Palestine. Just saying. I noticed there was one for Ukraine and, IMO, enough money been spent on Ukraine and not enough saving the Palestinians.

I don’t understand why it’s so hard for people to keep Duchess Meghan’s name out of their mouth. If this priest didn’t like Duchess Meghan’s advent calendar maybe it wasn’t for him. There are plenty of people selling advent calendar but he didn’t mention their name. Why go after Duchess Meghan? What did she do to him?
I agree. I honestly don’t get the double standard. So many public figures and brands put out holiday items or calendar collaborations, but the moment Meghan does anything, it’s dissected under a microscope. If it’s not your style just don’t buy it! Nobody is forcing anyone to participate or give their money to Meghan.
Why is there always so much hostility directed at Meghan for the simplest things? It’s an advent calendar, not a political statement. The level of outrage people generate over every single project she touches is just exhausting. Let people enjoy things without making it a whole drama.
