After drinking my final tea for the day, I decided to check the media just one last time before jumping into bed and falling asleep.
Well, looks like sleep can wait just a tadbit longer because Omid Scobie has announced that he did not leak the name of King Charles in the Dutch version of his book called Endgame.

ALLEGEDLY, King Charles questioned Prince Archie’s skin tone according to Omid Scobie!!!!
Should we believe Omid Scobie?
Right now I’m tired. It’s been a long day and I’m totally confused. I have just downloaded Endgame to read later on in the week. I glanced through it briefly. At this point, I’m unsure if Omid is friend or foe to the Sussexes. He claims to have interview people close to the Sussexes, friends of the Sussexes, people within the palace, etc. It all sounds like he’s part of the briefing problem Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spoke about. Why is he poking his nose in their private lives and making money off of it?
I continue to consume these books to keep up with what is being said about the Sussexes. There have been so many twists and turns in this whole family issue that sometimes I think the family isn’t the problem but the people around the family such as the royal reporters who are all reporting on the same one family. They all need to earn their pay check and drama seem to have driven up their content creation. On the other hand, did the courtiers even try to like Meghan or just seen her as an American who was unfit to be in the royal family?
So many questions. Where does Omid fit into this. I see he have said in his Prologue of Endgame that he started royal reporting in 2011. Why did he switch and where is he writing right now? Last I heard, Yahoo! News no longer employs him. So it stands to reason he needed Endgame to be a huge success to bring in cash. Unless he has a column for some other publication which I didn’t know about?
What did Omid say about the name being revealed?
According to DailyMail:
Speaking to Dutch chat show RTL Boulevard today, Mr Scobie said insisted he was not to blame for the error.
‘The book is in several languages, and unfortunately I do not speak Dutch. But if there are translation errors, I’m sure the publishers will have it under control,’ he said.
I do speak a bit of Spanish and a bit of French. Never in the time I was learning either language have I ever seen a translation where a name suddenly just pops up. Maybe Dutch is different? It’s a very strange translation error if that is what Omid is calling it.
Anyways, I won’t apologize for my suspicions of Omid. Something about him just doesn’t sit right with me but I can’t quite put my finger on it. Is he friend or foe of Meghan and Prince Harry?
I guess we will see. Time has a way of revealing some truths.
