Meghan Markle and the other side of failing

It’s 2026 now (Happy New Year’s readers) and Meghan Markle is already off to a rocky start with her As ever brand. Well, it’s not entirely her fault. Saint Meghan Markle sleuth may have figured out how much inventory (allegedly) As ever carries for each product.

As ever launched in 2025 and sold out

In 2025, Meghan Markle launched As ever products which sold out a few times. She excitedly ran to social media to thank her customers and let the world know how grateful she was for her brand to be doing so well. What was never discussed was how many products was sold before everything sold out. How much inventory she had on hand?

However, as the year ended, there was no more celebration for products selling out. Some people theorized that maybe As ever wasn’t doing as well as Meghan had hoped for and that she was having difficulty offloading her inventory.  This is understandable because most businesses operate in the red during the first year or even the first couple of years of opening.

2026 just started and already Meghan has problems

The Christmas holidays came and went without any video from Meghan, excitedly telling the world that she sold out. New Year’s Day came and went and still no sold out video. Instead of a sold out video, a member of the Saint Meghan Markle subreddit delivered information that may or may not be true. The information that was presented on the Saint Meghan Markle subreddit was the number of inventory Meghan had for each of her products she is selling on As ever.

In case it gets removed, here is the post:

Fans of the Duchess of Sussex’s As Ever brand have bestowed a new title on her – Lady Marmalade…wasn’t Lady Marmalade a hohohoho?

I just figured out WasNever’s EXACT inventory! I pretended to order 200,000 of the orange marm and was told “only 44,612 were added to my cart based on availability.” I did the same with every product. Here’s the current unsold inventory. (fake order deleted obvs)

Fruit Spread Trio (no box) — 44,960 available
Fruit Spread Trio Boxed –137,465 in stock
Honey (2) Boxed — 24,238 available
Orange marmelade — 44,612 in stock
Flower Sprinkles — 80,391 available
Sage Honey (1) — 8,587 in stock
Cider mulling kit — 14,154 available
Toddy mulling kit — 15,989 in stock
Candle 519 — 27,302 total left
Candle 084 — 62,524 available
Peppermint Tea — 39,475 remaining
Lemon Tea — 35,488 in stock
Habiscus Tea — 37,734 available

The numbers are much higher than I imagined. Seems like a ton left over after xmas.

EDIT: Adding UNSOLD wine numbers.

Brut — 6,871 available
Sauv Blanc — 46,428 in stock
2024 Rose — 23,972 remaining
Wooden Crate (single bottle) — 1,964 unsold

Are these numbers real? I do not know for sure but it’s interesting that those amount shown up on the website when it was tried. Currently, As ever was updated to prevent these numbers from showing and allow customers to contact Meghan or someone in As ever to purchase in bulk if needed.

Meghan will keep failing because people will continue to pick apart her content and products

Unfortunately, I think Meghan will continue to fail because people will continue to pick apart her products to find out what manufacturer she is using, how much inventory she has, and spreading the word to not buy anything from her site.

I do feel somewhat sorry for her though. All Meghan is trying to do is run a successful business to earn money to put food on her table. Rich or not, Duchess of Sussex or not, she still need to earn a living like the rest of us. Personally, I didn’t buy any of As ever products.

1) I live outside the US  and 2) No offense to Meghan but I don’t buy jam or honey or candles online. I don’t even buy tea online. Those things I buy locally especially honey. Local honey helps me with my seasonal allergies. I doubt I will ever find myself in California anytime soon.
