December 2025 saw some of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s employees either being fired by them or leaving their employment. Archewell Foundation have changed to Archewell Philanthropies leading many to think that the Sussexes might be facing financial issues.

It was announced Megan Markle and Prince Harry’s chief communications officer recently quit in late December 2025, becoming their 11th publicist to depart in five years with reports citing the final straw being the fallout from the Kardashian birthday photo drama.
One of the Kardashians, I think it was Chris, in a carousel of pictures from her birthday party this year, posted a picture of Megan Markle inside the party and it was later deleted from the carousel.
My source at the time, and a lot of people didn’t believe this was the reason, that they thought that Megan wanted that picture removed because she wasn’t wearing a poppy. November is the month that the royal family wears poppies for Veterans Day and part of Harry’s platform is veterans.
So, this person speculated that they thought Megan was going to be criticized for not wearing a poppy. One of my sources did tell me that the Sussexes did make their publicist allegedly write an apology letter to Chris Jenner after all of that happened. Listen, I have I just want to say, don’t shoot the messenger. I’m just telling you what somebody told me. I have no personal opinion of her. This is not my personal opinion. Another source who has some inside information about working for the pair said the environment they lead is from a place of fear.

In truth, I’m not sure. There been people who said Meghan and Prince Harry are great to work with while there have been others who said the Sussexes have been difficult. 2026 will probably give us some more insight into the Sussexes work life as we watch Meghan continues to work on her As ever lifestyle brand.
We may never know what went on behind the scenes unless the ex-employees start talking. Allegedly, the Sussexes didn’t make every one of their employees sign NDAs so they can speak up if they want to. However, most will probably want to keep everything professional and move on to new jobs.
