I am sure by now, most, if not all of Meghan Markle’s followers have heard that her father is now in the hospital in the Philippines after having surgery to amputate his foot due to a blood clot. While I do feel sorry for him and everyone who is going through some medical issues, IMO, his health announcement has been very toxic from the very beginning.
Let’s back up to Tom Jr. on YouTube
Tom Jr. had recently uploaded videos to YouTube. I had watched the first one he recently uploaded and felt very disgusted with him. What right does he have to talk about his own sister’s private parts? I have four older brothers who I was raised with until the age of 7 or 8 years old. I would be disgusted, embarrassed, ashamed, and just downright offended if either of them started talking about my lady parts the way Tom Jr talks about Meghan’s lady parts.
Furthermore, he talked about her being a yacht girl. For those who don’t know it, a “yacht girl/woman” is a female who escorts or sells her body to men on yachts. Usually, they party on the yachts with the men and take the s*x work back to either his home or a local hotel. Rumors have been circulating for years that Meghan could have possibly been an escort of some kind, usually on yachts but also it’s been said she escorted in SoHo house where she met her current husband, Prince Harry. All rumors are unfounded but to hear Meghan’s brother push them on his YouTube channel, it’s quite ashamed.
Now fast forward to today in December 2025
I do understand taking care of an ailing father is difficult especially if money isn’t all that much. However, the way Tom Jr went about calling Meghan out for not helping physically or financially on YouTube was wrong, IMO. Furthermore, rather than reach out to the media, the Markles should have tried to reach out to Meghan privately through a phone call, email, or her Instagram accounts.
Now, it’s been reported that Tom Sr has a reporter friend sitting in his room with him. I’m not a fan of Meghan but even I know that this is sus. Why involve the media in this family issue? This is a toxic situation playing out in the media for all the world to see. This should be taking place behind closed doors.
Meghan really needs a new team
I think it is time for Meghan to get a more professional team together because the current one she has is not good at all. Why leak to the media that an aid contacted her father only for another leak to be made that Meghan contacted her father herself? Additionally, her family decided to tell the media that they weren’t contacted at all by Meghan only for it to be briefed to the media that Meghan emailed her father. Apparently, the email went to an account that Thomas Sr hasn’t used for years.
IMO, Meghan should have had her time simply put out a statement as such:
“My father’s health issues is a private family matter. I have no comment at this time and request privacy at this time. I ask for the public’s thoughts and prayers be with my father. Thank you for understanding.”
Or something like that. It’s simple, to the point, and doesn’t need further comments.
Instead, there has been a huge back and forth in the media between Meghan and her Markle family which serves only to make her look bad. Many people have reasons to cut off their family. Meghan is no different. It isn’t the public’s business what is going on with Tom Sr and how his daughter chooses to respond.
Meghan’s team should have instructed her to go radio silent.
Anyways, as this situation continues to unfold, I wish Tom Sr., Meghan, and her family well.
